In July 2006 I was awarded a PhD grant from the University of Salento. My doctoral research is a comparative study of different models of consultative democracy operating in the supranational arena and their interactions with the domestic level.

From January to December of 2008, I spent a period of study and research at the Law School of the New York University. From January to July of 2009, I relocated to Paris at the Institut D’Etudes Politiques de Paris, as chercheur-enseignant invitè.

In 2008 I become a professional journalist in Italy. Since 2010 I work for the Italian Government (Communication&Press)
