Gideon E. Moncrieffe

Gideon was born in Brooklyn, NY. Early on he knew he was interested in entertainment and sports. He would entertain his family by impersonating Michael Jackson or Eddie Murphy to make them laugh. He also cheered along with whatever sports teams his mom was rooting for. As Gideon got older, he channeled his love for entertainment and sports. He entered several talent shows and tried to play every sport he could. The love for entertainment turned into a love for songwriting. The love for sports turned into a love for tennis. That love turned into a full scholarship to division 1 school, Iona College. After college, graduating with honors he would dive head first into the entertainment industry. He took his passion for music/entertainment and started working at Emmis Communications. He worked for 98.7 Kiss FM, Hot 97.1 FM, CD 101.9 and learned about radio/event production and on-air responsibilities. While networking at Emmis, he met DJ Jazzy Joyce. Soon discovering they had the same birthday she hired him to be her P.A. After a few years of working for and traveling abroad with Joyce, he went to work for Power 105.1. While working at Power, Gideon also landed a job at NBC in the illustrious Page Program. At NBC he worked on shows such as Conan O'Brien, Saturday Night Live, and The Today Show. After NBC Gideon then went to work for MTV's Sweet 16. After MTV, he then went to work with on air personality Carlos Watson as his Executive Consultant. From there Gideon went to work with BET, where he has worked on several shows and various specials. During his stint at BET he has directed a music video called "Here I Am" for Von Sway, had a morning show with BET called The Heat, been featured in Fortune Magazine's Faces of The Future, as well as starred in a national Match.com ad. You may have also heard his voice on some of your favorite TV ads' such as Checkers Rallys and Simon Flash. After BET, he went to work for Global Advertising Strategies Ad Agency. He handled the production operations for the agency. He then worked for MSG-Fuse TV as a Line Producer/Production Manager, where he handled behind the scenes production for various entities. Gideon has worked with BBC America as the Director of Production, Essence Magazine Festival as a Coordinating Producer, GlobalHue as EP - Director of Production and most recently iHeartMedia as a Sr. Producer. Gideon is dedicated to building his craft and creating great content for the companies he works for.
