After completing high school with merits in solo and ensemble performance through Brighton Secondary School’s Special Interest Music Program, Ben began his Bachelor of Music specialising in Jazz Vocal Performance at the Elder Conservatorium of Music (Adelaide University) in 2007. During this time, he performed regularly as one of the most sought-after male vocalists in Adelaide performing at a number of weddings, corporate and private functions.

During his tertiary studies, Ben began his career in vocal education in both private academies and throughout government and non-government schools using the Voicecraft and Estill techniques as a basis, focussing on the fundamental stylistic approach to music and singing. He is also an accomplished choir and vocal ensemble educator specialising in Jazz, Musical Theatre and contemporary styles.

Ben has performed with the high-energy gospel group The Gospo Collective under the direction of Charmaine Jones, has previously worked with Trace Canini in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and has made appearances as a guest vocalist with the Adelaide Youth Superband as well as headlining the ASO Does Disco and singing backing vocals for the George Michael Tribute, featuring Hugh Sheridan, Rob Mills, Casey Donovan, Andrew De Silva, Bobby Fox and John Foreman (MD) with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. He has also worked alongside Jessica Mauboy, James Morrision, Silvie Paladino and Paulini in various performances.

Ben is the Co-founder, Managing Director and Producer at Gospo Enterprises Pty Ltd which manages The Gospo Collective and acts as a booking agent and provides talent management in the Adelaide, South Australia region, as well as providing Event Management and Production Support for both small and large-scale projects.
