Graziano Brothers
Italian Store in Des Moines, IA
In business for more than a century, Graziano Brothers is the creation of Frank and Luigi Graziano, Italian immigrants who brought the flavors of their childhood to Des Moines, Iowa. The duo quickly gained a reputation for community outreach and works of charity, ultimately feeding many people in need during the Great Depression. As makers of fresh Italian sausage, Graziano Brothers has achieved legendary status in the greater Des Moines area.
Still operating out of its original location, the Graziano Brothers of today employs two key managers and 12 employees to operate as both a specialty store and a deli-style restaurant. It holds active membership in both the Iowa Meat Processors Association and the American Association of Meat Processors.
The company continues to build on its rich history of charity and community involvement through its affiliations with the Food Bank of Iowa and the Italian American Cultural Center of Iowa. In 2018, it received FuseDSM Best Business and FuseDSM Best Entrepreneur honors from the Des Moines East and South Chamber of Commerce.
