CGGF works only with carefully chosen companies that demonstrate these fundamental criteria:
* Manufacture or promote products or services that contribute directly to a cleaner, healthier environment;
* Employ skilled labor union workers in all construction, manufacturing and operations, providing a living wage and a comprehensive benefits and pension package to all employees;
* Practice sustainable manufacturing and transparent business philosophies in company operations;
* Reasonable investor exit strategy and a long-term return on investment commensurate with risk.
CGGF actively supports its portfolio companies with hands-on expertise in critical areas such as finance, logistics, marketing, labor and government relations.

CGGF is operated by Kashong LLC, a private holding and project management company with a mandate to design and support labor union-based, environmentally-friendly solutions for everyday infrastructure problems of municipalities.
Kashong LLC works to assure that the goals of creating good-paying, non-exportable union jobs and promoting a clean and healthy environment are implemented in successful private sector models.
