An experienced general practitioner with particular expertise in the fields of internal medicine and geriatrics, Dr. Gregory Tapson has operated his own private practice in Carmel, California, for well over two decades. In addition to his responsibilities with this practice, he regularly attends to the medical needs of residents at the Carmel Valley Manor retirement community and the Cypress Ridge Care Center, a nursing facility in nearby Monterey. Dr. Gregory Tapson is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Outside of the professional arena, he writes and plays music, with a focus on classic rock and blues. In addition to singing, he plays bass and both lead and rhythm guitar. Dr. Gregory Tapson is also a fitness enthusiast with a black belt in taekwondo. In addition to working out on a daily basis, he enjoys hiking, biking, and playing golf.
