Don't Forget the Motor City

Life is about laughter, and loving people who laugh. Everything else- who cares? Will I ever want to be famous enough to NOT know every member of my audience? I can't even fathom why that is attractive. BUT, I would love the world to know my music, first, my words, second, and myself, through both.

A curious creature, creative for causes, caustic at those callous, and caring for critters-- comedic through chronic illness, calmly cruising through the country. I fiercely support those around me, and work tirelessly to keep those I support happy, whether it be for moments at a comedy club (ooh, more c's), or in a chapter of a book. I truly sing for my supper, car payments, and even made national headlines once or forty times.

I love my family, pets, friends, in that order. I love living more than anything- Live- because around the corner is ALWAYS something amazing. Hummingbirds in rainstorms and rainbows during snow..plus there's a great wave waiting to be ridden, and it invites me often.

Music makes me. It just does. Funk, rock, world, dance, even a guy on a streetcorner playing a pizza box... it's all brilliant. Writers make me wiser. Laughter makes me love. The worst word to describe anyone is "selfish", so egotists and sociopaths-- scat. (well described in THAT word.)
