From the second I learned how to put a pen to paper, I knew I wanted to be a writer. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in creative writing, it's time to make that happen. I'm currently working on several projects, including a novel about two teenage girls whose friendship is put to the test after they see something they were never meant to see.

What else do I do with my time? Well, I'm an online writing tutor as well as a dance teacher. I run a blog called Caitlin Liveblogs, where I read controversial and/or poorly written books and discuss the quality of the writing along with the social ramifications the book may have. Of course, by "discuss" I mean "swear and use capital letters to get my point across.

I also spend a ridiculous amount of time watching Netflix and reading every book I can get my hands on. I watch a lot of hockey, go for an occasional run, and play with my dog. I play a lot of Pokemon as well, just in case you had any delusions that I was an actual adult.

I currently live in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, just a short train ride away from one of the greatest cities on the planet.
