Dr. Guven Uzun

Los Angeles, California, resident Dr. Guven Uzun oversees all operations of Beverly Hills Pain Institute and Neurology as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Joining the company in 2003, he serves as a physician providing pain management. A licensed, board-certified neurologist, Dr. Guven Uzun offers an integrated approach to health care. After careful evaluations using diagnostic tools and methods to find the origin of pain symptoms, he develops an efficient treatment plan that caters to each patient's individual condition. He has treated back and neck pain, nerve injuries, and neuropathic pain utilizing pain management techniques. At Beverly Hills Pain Institute and Neurology, he and a fellow physician lead the medical staff in helping patients suffering from headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated lumbar discs, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and many other disorders or injuries.

Dr. Guven Uzun possesses active hospital affiliations with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, and St. John's Health Center. He regularly contributes to medical and research journals in the areas of neurology and has spent several years researching cerebral blood flow. Dr. Guven Uzun received training at Columbia University, where he served as a research fellow in circulatory physiology and completed a surgical internship. Dr. Uzun focused his medical work in neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he spent three years finishing a residency. He continued his work as a neurology fellow with Tufts Comprehensive Stroke Center at New England Medical Center before moving to California. Before his position at Beverly Hills Pain Institute and Neurology, he functioned as the Director of Neurovascular Service at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. He maintains active memberships with numerous organizations, including America Society of Pain Management, American Medical Association, Interventional Neurology Association, Stroke Council of the American Heart Association, and many others.
