Ha T Hatley
Board-Certified Physician in Family Medicine and O in Edwardsville, IL, USA
I am a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine, based in Illinois and providing telehealth care to patients across the United States. My work centres on long-term health, sustainable weight management, and care that fits into real life rather than quick fixes. I believe health is built through consistency, structure, and thoughtful decisions over time.
I was born and raised in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States at 17. Starting over in a new country shaped my values around discipline, resilience, and patience. I completed all of my post-secondary education in the U.S., earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Medicine. My clinical training allowed me to practise across a wide range of settings, including outpatient care, emergency medicine, urgent care, telemedicine, and obesity medicine.
Over the past several years, I have focused my practice on weight management and long-term wellbeing. I approach weight as part of a broader system that includes physical health, mental wellbeing, energy, and daily habits. In addition to civilian practice, I serve as a physician in the Army National Guard and am currently pursuing an MBA to strengthen my leadership and operational skills in healthcare.
