To all those girls who doubt their potential... Believe in yourself, Work hard, and never give up!

Hi, my name is Hailey Cox and I am 14 years old. My story began five years ago watching my brothers wrestle. Sitting in the stands weekend after weekend watching them come home with medals, made me want to try. After all, I knew some of the moves... Why couldn't I bring home a medal? I knew I would have to wrestle boys, but so what? I knew if I worked hard, had good technique, and was mentally tough.. I could compete. Little did I know, that I would be more than just competitive, but go on to be the first girl in Utah to win a youth Super State title against all boys! Another accomplishment came this year, as I was captain of the "Boys" junior high team and went "Undfeated" all year! Just recently, I was selected to be on the Women's Cadet Wrestling team competing in the 2014 Pan American games in Recife, Brazil where I won "GOLD" in my weight division. Now, having won the girls national freestyle tournament, I will be representing our country at the Worlds competition in Snina, Slovakia this July. This is just the beginning of the road I plan to take! Being a part of the Olympic Development program over the next couple of years is preparing me for the Junior Olympics and Olympic competition. Believe, Work Hard, and Follow Your Dreams!

If you or your business would like to support me on my path to the Olympics, or the continued growth of USA Women's wrestling, there are opportunities to do so and I would love to share them with you!
