As a public relations practitioner, I am focused on finding the intersection of creativity and strategy to develop effective communications plans. I am determined to shine the spotlight on those who accomplish good in this world.

Working in higher education has shown me that students and faculty accomplish amazing things – on campus, in their community and in the depths of a research lab. It is my mission to tell their story. To achieve this mission, I tackle projects with energy and a detail oriented mindset. Strategic development and implementation have guided my ability to successfully align an organization’s story with its target audiences.

To hone effective communication plans and satiate my thirst for lifelong learning, I am currently pursuing my master’s degree, serving on communications committees and boards, and soaking up insights from others.

Since relocating to Mississippi from Washington State, I have discovered my thirst for PR – public relations and personal records. Running is now essential part of my life, swimming and biking are getting there. Coffee, yoga, barre, exploring, church, time with friends and family are other essentials that fill my color coded hand-written planner.
