An experienced executive within the financial sector, Hany Awadalla is a Managing Director in Investment Banking at National Securities Corp. In New York and is responsible for much of its healthcare practice. He works closely with emerging growth biotech and medical device companies. He evaluates the potential of all the companies he works with and determines whether they are a good match with the firm’s investment criteria. Since joining National in 2011, Hany Awadalla has raised more than $100 million of capital for public and private life science companies and participated in what have been some of National Securities’ best years in terms of performance.

Hany Awadalla began his successful career after receiving his bachelor’s degree in East Asian studies and economics from Columbia University. He briefly worked as a financial analyst before continuing his education, attending the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and the Lauder Institute for his MBA in finance and MA in international studies, respectively. He went on to serve in a variety of leadership positions, including Managing Director of Life Sciences M&A at Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, and Managing Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Collins Stewart, LLC, before accepting his current title.
