Born Harhonda Niche’t Pinkney, in Sandusky, Ohio and moved to Birmingham, Alabama at a young age. I matriculated through the Birmingham Public School system while furthering my education at Clark Atlanta University (CAU), where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandise / Design. Later, furthering my education to earn a Juris Doctorate from Miles Law School and a Masters in Public Relations from FullSail University.
A career in Public Administration began in 2001. Over time, I have been involved with community projects to include: developing strategies and protocol for constituents; meeting with local and regional Elected Officials, School Board Officials and State Legislatures to lobby support. I am a strategic communicator and provide an array of skills to include: crisis communication / management planning, government affairs, digital public relations, and event management. I have been with the City of Birmingham for over 10 years; currently working for the Mayor’s Office, in a dual capacity, as the Boutwell Municipal Auditorium’s Box Office / Event Manager.
Art is a passion, to include: Music, Entertainment, Special Events, and Visual Arts. I am also passionate about helping others and adding life to projects through branding. Volunteer experience include being a previous member of the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Alabama Ballet Junior Board, YWCA Junior Board, and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), where I have recently served as the local Chapter President, for over 6 years. A graduate of the NFBPA Mentor Program, and have been an active member on the Conference Planning and Evaluation Committee (CPEC). I enjoy volunteering with the Worship Center church ministry and spending quality time with my two daughters.
