Since 1990, when he founded Homies Cinnamon Rolls in Las Vegas, Harold D. Rose, Jr., has guided and grown the company. After securing partnerships with more than 20 7-11 stores in his first year and opening an independent storefront in 1998, Harold D. Rose, Jr., has seen his product and the company become widely popular across the Southwest. In addition, Homies Cinnamon Rolls of Las Vegas has received top ratings and accolades from media outlets ranging from ESPN to Baking and Buying magazine.

Mr. Rose comes to the food industry following service as a baker in the U.S. Navy and a diet tech at Balboa Naval Hospital. He continues to serve others by making contributions through the company to national and local organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. On a personal level, Mr. Rose stands out as a popular public speaker in the San Diego city school system, where he advocates for drug resistance and supports the growth and flourishing of students at risk.

Experienced in entertainment as well as anti-drug advocacy, Harold D. Rose, Jr., played the leading role in the 1981 anti-drug film The Dugout. He accepted this role after earning his Screen Actors Guild membership in 1979 and following success in the 1980 film The Hollywood Nights, starring Tony Danza and Michelle Pfeiffer. Mr. Rose also made a name for himself as radio personality Butch the Baker, who appeared on Q106 radio, a top-40 station in San Diego, California.
