Harold D. Partain CTC, CCTP

Equally at home in Italy and Texas, Harold has dedicated over 40 years to the travel industry. His ownership, management and training skills have led several companies to success and recognition. Harold, a senior partner with McCabe Travel Group, LLC lectures on travel styles and trends, destinations, and the history of food – the past eight years at Brookhaven College in Dallas, and for various travel organizations and conferences.

Founder & Executive Director, Harold created Epicopia Culinary Journeysin 2006 to specialize in Food & Wine Travel Experiences. Harold has served on the Board of Directors, International Culinary Tourism Association, since 2004 and as Vice-Chairman from 2006. In 2011 he was elected Chairman. He is actively involved in the Association’s educational and certification program. Harold was one of the first individuals certified CCTP – Certified Culinary Travel Professional.

Harold designs creative culinary and wine travel experiences such as; Food, Arts & Opera – A Taste of the Veneto, Down on the Farm – Italian Style (yearly), Assaggio Toscana!, Authentic Puglia (Sept 2012), Portugal: The New Duoro River (May 2013), Extraordinary Women of Spain: Chefs & Winemakers (Oct 2012)... among many others.

In addition to fully hosted small group programs, Epicopia Culinary Journeys works with individuals, families, and groups of friends to design a unique and memorable food & wine travel experience.
