Drawing on his background as a litigation associate, Harrison Barnes founded the BCG Attorney Search recruitment firm in Los Angeles, California, in 1999. Harrison Barnes emphasizes the company’s main motto, “We Must Get Attorneys Jobs,” and has averaged more than one job placement every day since establishing the firm. Under his direction, the firm has helped more attorneys gain employment than any other legal recruiting firm worldwide.

Throughout his career, Mr. Barnes has published numerous articles on the topic of legal recruitment. He also runs a blog that reaches approximately 800,000 readers. He wrote the article “Law Firm Diversity: How Race, Gender, Age, Social and Economic Divisions Impact the Hiring, Retention and Advancement of Law Firm Attorneys." The article builds upon his experience as a legal recruiter, as well as his experience teaching a college-level class on society and race at the University of Chicago.

To prepare for his career, he earned a juris doctor from the University of Virginia in 1996. He also earned a bachelor's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
