During Harry’s time as Managing Director at First-Step, several areas of Manchester have been regenerated to make them affordable and attractive options for first-time buyers struggling to get on the property ladder. The company have a strong environmental focus which underlines everything they do, and this is prevalent in each of their big projects. Recently, their main successes have been Louisa Street and Chorlton Villas. Louisa Street is a development which includes 24 two and three-bedroom homes in an area of Manchester which was previously not attracting people to visit or live in; the scheme has received praise from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), who earmarked it as a case study for successful regeneration. Chorlton Villas is a set of 28 homes set within the leafy suburb of Chorlton, within an easy commute of Manchester city centre. They are designed for buyers who want the ultimate modern eco-living experience, with each of the properties perfectly specified, light and airy – it is another example of a successful First-Step development under Harry’s expert eye.

Alongside his work with First-Step, Harry Dhaliwal is a franchisee for Belvoir Sales and Lettings. This involves managing all three of their Manchester offices (with two more set to open in the next year) and offering specialist advice to customers. Belvoir were established in 1995 and have since become a trusted operation within the property world; they are members of the Property Ombudsman, Safe Agent and the National Approved Lettings Scheme. In 2006, Harry was a finalist in the Franchise Manager of the Year competition, demonstrating the effort and expert knowledge that he brings to the position.

Outside work, Harry is a keen traveller who has extensively explored large parts of Asia and Europe. He is also a food enthusiast who has greatly enjoyed the cuisine he has experienced on his travels as well as always looking for new and exciting places to eat in Manchester. Harry is also a big fan of London, travelling there regularly for work and leisure.
