Harvey Jacobson

As a champion of American Music, Mr, Jacobson performs many of America's rarely performed composers. He is a native of Boston, MA. and holds three degrees in music. He has appeared frequesntly on radio and television performing the music of Scott Joplin, Fats Waller, Edward MacDowell and George Gershwin. As a composer, Mr. Jacobson's "Sonata for Trumpet and Piano" was premiered at the famed Julliard School of Music. Mr. Jacobson has taught at the North Carolina School of the Arts and Northern Virginia Community College. Mr. Jacobson has performed at many well known venues such as Harvard University, Kennedy Center, John Hopkins University, Hammond Castle Museum, Cornell University and the well know Harmony Hall in Fort Washington, MD.
