Deep in the shadowed bayous beyond New Orleans, there are whispers of a strange gathering…

• A society without a map.
• A krewe without a traditional throne.
• A congregation of beautiful misfits who appear when the moon is right.

They call themselves the HAuS oF THe RiSiNG DRaGoNS.

We are Cultural Agitators, lurking somewhere between Mardi Gras mythology, performance art, Southern Gothic fantasy, and glorious queer mischief.

Known as The HAuS oF THe RiSiNG DRaGoNS, this Dragon Krewe is an LGBT Mardi Gras walking subkrewe—a wandering tribe of performers, dreamers, provocateurs, and creatures of questionable origin.

Our rituals are our own.

Our language is Kooki Kabuki.

And when the Dragons emerge, expect the unexpected.

This October, the veil lifts.

RiSiNG DRaGoNS will descend upon Houma, Louisiana, bringing our peculiar brand of Kooki Kabuki performance art to the Krewe Ga Rou Parade—the dazzling centerpiece of the annual Rougarou Fest.

For one night, the creatures of the bayou will have company.
