Over the course of her career, Democratic staff leader Hayley Dierker has worked with a number of elected officials and campaigns. She entered the political scene as a campaign scheduler and press assistant for Paul Babbitt’s Congressional campaign in 2004. In 2007, Hayley Dierker served as the program coordinator for the 21st Century Democrats organization, after which time she joined the Office of Congressman Donald Cazayoux, Jr., as its director of operations and scheduler.

In her time with Congressman Cazayoux, Hayley Dierker oversaw daily scheduling and coordinated staff workflow. She interfaced regularly with House, Caucus, and Committee personnel while simultaneously offering support in communicating with constituents. In 2009, she became the deputy chief of staff for Congressman Scott Murphy of Upstate New York.

Hayley Dierker served with Congressman Murphy for two years, during which time she provided him with his daily briefing and coordinated with both internal and external personnel. She moved on from this role to become the chief of staff for the chairman’s office of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), where she rose to the position of chief operating officer and senior advisor to the chair and then to chief of staff and chief operating officer.

An active individual in her free time, Hayley Dierker enjoys spin classes, snow skiing, and body surfing. She is also an enthusiastic sports fan and favors the Arizona Cardinals as well as the San Diego Padres.

Hayley Dierker earned a BS in Public Relations and Political Science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She earned an MS in Justice, Law and Society from American University.
