Avid skier and former whitewater guide Hilary Nangle specializes in writing about soft adventure, skiing, spas, arts, heritage, all-things Maine, and, thanks to two years as managing editor for Gourmet News, food. She's written on assignment for markets ranging alphabetically from AARP to Yankee, topically from Art & Antiques to National Geographic Adventure. She’s authored three Moon guidebooks, Coastal Maine, Acadia National Park, and Maine, and contributed to dozens of others.
