Holmes Legal Group

2145 Post Road Wells, Maine

The firm handles all of the most common legal matters and maintains a referral base that allows the attorneys to provide direction for clients with more particular issues. The four women who make up Holmes Legal Group offer high-quality representation at an affordable price, including a free half-hour initial consultation. They understand that legal action can take an emotional toll and stand by their clients at every stage of the process.

Holmes Legal Group Partner Pamela S. Holmes specializes in family law and guardianship. Ms. Holmes begins by seeking resolution of disputes through mediated agreements and notes that parties are often more compliant with judgments that they have had a hand in drafting. When mediation is not successful, she represents clients throughout the court process. Having earned her law degree from the University of Maine, Ms. Holmes is currently licensed to practice in both Maine and Vermont.

Attorney Amy McNally worked her way through the University of Maine Law School as a paralegal and research assistant for the Holmes Legal Group. She completed her Juris Doctor in 2012. In addition to family law, Ms. McNally handles civil litigation, probate, criminal defense, and child protective cases. Attorney Amanda Ramirez practices family law, civil litigation, and child protective law. As with colleague Pamela Holmes, Ms. Ramirez is registered to represent minor children or incapacitated adults as guardian ad litem in court. Angela Thibodeau joined the Holmes Legal Group from her partnership with Blanchard & Thibodeau in nearby Biddeford, Maine. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she studied criminology; she earned her law degree from the University of New Hampshire's Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2002.
