Hong Wei Liao

I’m Hong Wei Liao, based in Toronto, Canada. I was born in Hunan, China, and my life has been shaped by a deep commitment to service, mentorship, and legacy building. As Chair of the Botrich Family Wealth Heritage and Development Center, I help high-net-worth families plan for the future—not just financially, but through values, education, and impact. I’m passionate about youth development and women’s leadership, and I’ve spent years mentoring young people, supporting their access to education, and sponsoring cultural and leadership programs across North America. I also serve as Life Honorary Chair of the North America United Global Women’s Association. I believe in leading quietly and serving with purpose. Through organizations like CYFA and partnerships with UNICEF, I continue to invest in the next generation. My work is rooted in the belief that true success is measured not only by achievement, but by what we inspire in others.
