Laura Howell
Designer, Art Director, and Volunteer in Silver City, New Mexico
Laura Howell is a visual communicator focused in marketing strategy development/implementation for non-profit organizations and small business development. She works on the Western New Mexico University Mar/Com team and is a freelance marketing problem solver.
Laura lives in Silver City, New Mexico but her designs are not "small town." Howell creates a spectrum of Business 2 Client marketing toos, from logos to web sites, posters to presentations, digital to print publications.
Community holds an important spark in her life. Howell is a past recipient of the Grant County Business Woman of the Year Award, past president of Rotary Club of Silver City, and past co-director of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program at St. Vincent de Paul. She currently serves on the Community Partnership for Children Board, the Community Legislative Action Committee to the Grant County Prospectors and on the New Mexico Judical Performance Evaluation Commission. In addition, she has served as an adjunct professor for Western New Mexico University in graphic design and marketing.
Laura Howell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in advertising design from University of Oklahoma and a Master of Communications degree from Pratt Institute, New York City.
