International Eye Care

International Eyecare Center was founded in Quincy, IL, in 1981 by Dr. John McDougall, an optometrist who believed that everyone should have access to world-class vision care right in their hometown. Since then, we expanded services to 12 offices throughout Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa, enabling us to provide affordable vision services, value-priced eyewear, and contact lenses to thousands of patients and their families. In 2017, IEC joined Acuity Eyecare Group, an experienced and successful management team. It’s a natural fit considering AEG’s Regional Vice President is Teresa Carter, the former President of International Eyecare Center.
