Ingrid Reeves

Possessing a U.S. Coast Guard Third Mate’s license and eight years of experience in the U.S. Navy, Ingrid Reeves is licensed to operate ships of any size. She holds diverse transportation industry experience encompassing customs and freight brokerage, distribution, stevedoring, trucking, and rail and ocean shipping. Since 2006, Ingrid Reeves has held responsibilities as Customer Service Manager with CRST International, a logistics firm providing truckload solutions throughout North America and Central America. Ms. Reeves earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. She achieved commission as a U.S. Navy officer upon graduation, ultimately earning the rank of Lieutenant. Throughout much of the 1990s, Ingrid Reeves served as Operations Manager with APL, Ltd., a container transportation firm utilizing an intermodal system spanning truck, rail, and ocean transport. She planned, coordinated, and supervised full loading and unloading operations at the Ports of Oakland and Seattle. The weekly volume she managed totaled approximately 1,800 import containers and 1,500 export containers. From 2001 to 2004, Ingrid Reeves held a role as Transportation Sales Manager with a large North American leader in third-party logistics services. In this capacity, she managed the flow of local and long-haul truckload and less-than-truckload shipments, dispatching trucks to ensure on-time delivery. A mother of two, Ms. Reeves enjoys jogging and coaching her daughter’s soccer team in her free time. She additionally volunteers with her church and at a local nursing home in the area of Birmingham, Alabama. Ingrid Reeves is currently working towards a Master’s degree at the University of Alabama.
