For more than 10 years, Ira Virden has facilitated investment sales, recapitalization and equity financing for major multi-housing properties across the Northwest. He began his career with Marcus & Millichap, where he served as an associate director and senior associate, then moved on to become a senior associate with Apartment Realty Advisors. In 2012, Ira Virden joined HFF, where he now is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the Portland and Seattle offices.

Ira Virden has played a key role in several of the company's prominent transactions, including the 2015 sale of a 135-unit multi-housing property for more than $47 million. He also contributed significantly to the 2016 sale of a 200-unit apartment complex in Sherwood, Oregon, one of more than 30 investment sales valued above $30 million he has executed over the course of his career.

Some of Ira Virden’s most high profile sales include Premiere on Pine in Seattle, a $243 million investment sale. He has also facilitated the sale of numerous properties in Portland, such as the $120 million Centro Apartments and the $105.5 million Asa Flats + Lofts.
