Reatlegile Modise

I am a student and volunteer currently living in Soweto, Pimville zone5. My interests range from music to entrepreneurship. I am also interested in reading, food, and travel. My name is Reatlegile Modise, I am a third-year student at the University of Johannesburg. I am studying for a Bachelor of Teaching, majoring in neurodevelopmental learning needs and English. Before embarking on a journey of becoming a teacher at UJ, I was a student at the Central University of Technology studying Somatology. A Somatologist is a person who is interested in assisting others in improving their general wellness and aesthetic appearance through information and practice of healthy lifestyle habits, product use, and clinic treatments. Somatology is a 3-year course, but unfortunately, I only got to do my first year and after that I was unable to continue with my studies for some personal reasons. I then started with UJ in 2020, this was the best decision I have ever made, I love everything about my current course, more especially the practicals. I get along with the learners and it is always a pleasure to share knowledge.
