BACKGROUND

I`m an online graduate student studying International Relations, seeking to broaden my horizens and make a difference in our world.
I am also an English teacher in Japan, helping teachers to develop a new curriculum for lower-secondary and elementary schools in Japan. I have implemented interntional exchange classes between some of my schools and those in Hawaii, India, and Russia.

ADAPTABLE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS PROFESSIONAL

I have worked in multiple industries, including HR, fraud analytics, education, and non-profit volunteer work. My experiences have led to a passion for fascilitating the exchange of culture and ideas between different people. I am looking to transition to a career in government or the non-profit sector, specifically related to intercultural communication, intercultural exchanges, or foreign policy.

I aspire to help organizations bridge gaps in communication and understanding between groups to achieve shared goals.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Travel has been a common theme and passion throughout my life. I am proficient in conversational Japanese and am always looking for opportunities to improve.
When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy learning more about IT security and the economy.
When I have time, my favorite activities are snow and water skiing.
I also play soccer with a local elementary school soccer club, which keeps me on my toes.
