Jing Li

Jimmy is an optimistic guy who was born in a small city which located in the midd le of China. His hometown did not affect him too much because he wnt to HeFei and lived alone when he was only 10 years old. It made him brave and independent. He likes doing all kinds of things by himself, especially cooking and baking. His first time cooking was 12yeas old. Although his first dish was undercooked, it gave him the strength to pursue a career in the culinary arts. Ather ge ate sth delicious, he would try to make them at home and most of them were a sucess. When he was i n primary schoold, computers became one of his best friend, so he is good at using the computer. But, being indepnedent also gave him some bad experiences, such as he is not great at communicating with other people, although he is an outgoing guy, he is the strong silent type. Then sometime he do not have enough self-confidents to fnish his goal because he awalys care others felling.

It is easy for him to see the positive side of things. He tryed different type of coures when he came to Canada. He thinks those are important experiences but they it took lots of time from his life. Firstly he went to college to learn science, economics and communication. Then he found that University was not fo him and he went to Vancouver Communite College for Automotive Technology. After he found that was not his best choice he joined the Baking and Pastry Arts program at VCC and he believes he will become a professional pastry chef.
