Later, in 1997, he was invited by the Uruguay XXI executive manager to be part of their group and there he became leader of the project for the Directory of Exporting, Importing and Service Companies in Uruguay.
Since then, he continued to be part of various undertakings within the group itself, for example, offering advice on tax, legal and commercial related matters, supporting Uruguayan entrepreneurs who were starting businesses abroad. Along with this, he organized events at an international level.
Then, he decided to improve his professional training and specialize in the field of financial law, so in 2002 he went to Germany to start a postgraduate degree in financial law, a master's degree in International Taxation at the University of Konstanz. He also carried out courses specialized in topics such as transfer pricing and treaty interpretation, in this case at the University of Münster.
He finished his postgraduate studies in 2005 and returned to Uruguay at the following year, when he joined the Fraschini Abogados law firm. At the same time, he entered the University of Montevideo as an assistant in the Andrés Blanco chair of Financial Law, being an adjunct professor and he also participated in the Postgraduate Course in International Tax Law.
