Hello and thank you for checking out my page. Choosing a career path is a hard and confusing decision, but no worries because you have myself and other career specialist as well as multiple resources to help you with that decision.

When coming to ACIC you will be paired with a specialist to help you with the decision making process. We have been trained and are experienced in what we do, and we are here to listen and help you and not push certain majors on you. The specialist will help walk you through a different aptitude test to see what different fields you might be interested in. They will expose you to different resources of careers you are interested. Finally they will get you in contact with the college that best fits the path you are thinking about going towards.

I really like students that come in to ACIC because it is a way to rekindle their fire at K-State. Usually when student are not liking their major they are upset with school. When we are able to help them find a major they enjoy they become more content with school and usually with life as well.

Personally I am an Economics and Legal Communications Major. When I came to K-State I started out in Business Management and it is a great program, just not for me. After taking a few Economics classes I saw that I had a real talent in the subject. Further in my time at K-State I found out that I wanted to eventually become an Attorney. That is where I got the other major from. The classes in legal communications really prepare you for Law School. With out ACIC though it would not have been an easy transition with changing and adding majors. It has resources that allow me to know what classes I will be taking, contact information of advisers, and showed me how to change majors.

On campus I am very involved in SGA. I am a Student Senator for the College of Arts and Sciences. I really use my strategic strength in Senate. When debating for various bills I strategize my speeches so that other senators find the bill useful.
