John has worked in the Washington, D.C. region for three years, learning about and covering sports and political beats. He interned with Ziemba Waid Public Affairs, a D.C.-based lobbying group. On the sports side, he has worked with 106.7 The Fan, Patch.com, HoopsAddict.com and GMU Student Media to cover everything from high school sports to George Mason Athletics to the Washington Wizards.
