My name is Jaclyn. I studied newspaper journalism in college and worked as a features reporter for newspapers for eight years before I was able to find a job in marketing, for a community college. The career chage was a smart, smart decision; I love my new job, though I do try to write whenever I can. (Hence, the blog!)

I design and sell jewelry at Jac & Elsie, a side business that started as a hobby and became something I truly love to do.

I married the greatest man on the planet for me in May 2013, and I'm in the process of living my happily ever after.
