Jack Felgenhauer

An extensively experienced attorney, Jack Felgenhauer operates a solo general law office in Bucyrus, Ohio. He provides clients with legal counsel and courtroom representation across a broad range of practice areas, including civil litigation, criminal defense, real estate transactions, employment disputes, and family law matters, among others. Acting as solicitor for the Village of Hopedale, Jack Felgenhauer advises village authorities and prosecutes traffic and criminal offenses committed within Hopedale. He also provides legal counsel to the Village of Jewett on civil matters impacting the community, such as ongoing improvements to the village’s water treatment facility.

Also an assistant prosecutor for the Harrison County Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Felgenhauer litigates misdemeanor and criminal traffic violations, juvenile crime cases, and felony offenses. He previously served for several years as an assistant prosecutor for the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office. In this position, Jack Felgenhauer prosecuted criminal cases, civil complaints, and juvenile offenses; advised county agencies and townships; and implemented a protocol for conducting civil contempt proceedings that improved collections by the Child Support Enforcement Agency. Early in his career, he handled administrative hearings and litigation of civil contempt for child support cases as a staff attorney for the Tuscarawas County Child Support Enforcement Agency.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Felgenhauer maintains membership in the fraternal service organization Moose International. He enjoys spending his free time engaged in outdoor activities, such as gardening, beekeeping, hunting, and fishing.
