Jacob Barrera

Jacob is a 2011 graduate from Ferndale High School located In Ferndale, Washington. Jacob is currently working towards a Bachlor's in Community Recreation at the University of Western Washington, graduation date Fall 2015. Jacob has been working with the Whatcom County Family YMCA since the summer of 2012 and continue to do so today. Jacob has experience working with multiple departments such as the after-school program, summer camp, teen center, preschool, and infant program. Jacobs passion is working with the youth in the Bellingham Community to better their lives in any way possible through recreation. In closing, Jacob bases his actions in life off the four YMCA values, respect, honesty, caring, and responsibility.
