A New York-based investment professional with more than 20 years of experience, Jahanara Nissar joined Lynx Equity Strategies as managing partner in 2016. In this leadership position, Jahanara Nissar develops systematic client communication content and maintains relationships with institutional clients, as well as leads complex negotiations during the firm’s capacity requirements planning (CRP) stage.
Prior to joining Lynx Equity Strategies, Ms. Nissar spent three years as vice president, equities desk analyst with AllianceBernstein, also in New York City. Highly knowledgeable in the field of finance, she is quoted frequently in respected publications such as Bloomberg and the Times. An honors graduate of Mount Union College, Ms. Nissar earned a bachelor of science in computer science and mathematics, followed by a master of business administration in strategic management and finance from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Earlier in her career, she held positions with American Express, Citigroup, and RBC Capital Markets, where she received 2009 Top Investment Pick in the company-sponsored idea competition.
