James T. Allerton

Detective in Tucson, Arizona

After spending Ten years as a Pastor and Church Planter, James Allerton became involved in Law Enforcement and currently serves as a Detective and Chaplain for a law enforcement agency in Tucson, Arizona.

He serves on the board of and is the director of development for Alentar, a non-profit organization that works to encourage and inspire international Christian leaders to effectively continue in their life of service.

James helps law enforcement officers, leaders, and developing leaders remain inspired, motivated, and engaged in their calling, as well as promoting self-care and creativity in the workplace.

With his wife Diane, they have raised 4-children into adulthood, and currently have one grandson. Diane and James have been married for 31 years, and are continually looking forward to life’s adventures together.

James is a proud member of the The Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (Tlingit & Haida),and is enjoying discovering tribal heritage. When he is not working, you can find him hanging out with family and friends and hiking some of the local trails.
