James Berlangero

James Berlangero has been working in the procurement sector for more than three decades. He holds an AA in business administration from Nassau College/New York Institute of Technology, and is a certified purchasing manager from the Institute of Supply Management. James Berlangero has completed training courses at Charles Karrass Effective Negotiating Program, Roy L. Wilson Construction Claims Training, and the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM). He began his career as a senior buyer at Keyspan Energy Delivery.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Berlangero has worked for such companies as US Powergen, Public Service Electric & Gas, New York Homes and Community Renewal, and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. At these businesses, he was responsible for everything from managing staff and overseeing the procurement process to negotiating contracts and service level agreements. This granted him extensive experience in such things as operations management, project management, procurement policy development, and initiative implementation.

Most recently, Mr. Berlangero spent a year as the sourcing manager at Cushman & Wakefield in New Jersey. While he held this position, he developed procurement schedules and facilitated RFPs, IFBs, and RFQs processes. Mr. Berlangero was also responsible for overseeing transition of contracts and discovering new trends in contract and procurement matters.
