James D Tollman

James D. Tollman, MD, has served as president and chief executive officer of Essex Inpatient Physicians, PC, since 2007. In this position, he is tasked with the management of 19 full-time equivalent (FTE) hospitalists and skilled nursing facility (SNF) professionals. He also helps provide staffing support to a long-term acute care hospital, as well as a combined 20 trauma care units, visiting nurse associations, hospice teams, and SNFs. Furthermore, James D. Tollman, MD, is the president of Chiron Medical Management Company, Inc., and a founding partner of Osler Medical Group, LLC.

James D. Tollman, MD, studied biology as an undergraduate at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. He went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and later completed his family practice residency at Tufts University. In addition to his medical education and training, Dr. Tollman has achieved extensive certification and licensure. He maintains American Board of Family Practice certification and unrestricted medical licenses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is also a member of numerous professional societies, such as the American Medical Directors Association and the Society of Hospice Medicine, to name only a few.
