James Giacin

St. Louis, Missouri-based investment professional James Giacin leverages over 20 years of experience in insurance asset and liability management to oversee operations as managing director of a financial institution. Offering structured finance and asset management solutions to insurance companies, James Giacin has played a central role in capital-raising initiatives and mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Moreover, he has created more than $2 billion of original issue credit warehouse facilities for insurance partners and private credit managers.
Mr. Giacin has served in leadership roles for various asset management and financial services firms during the course of his career. He has also created insurance asset management platforms, investment products, and value-generating programs. He developed a liability matching program for one insurance company that helped generate net present value savings of $44 million for its parent company.
Complementing his experience, he holds a bachelor's degree in economics from St. Lawrence University and was a member of its ECAC championship-winning team in 1992. He was drafted into the NHL by the Los Angeles Kings and attended St. Louis Blues training camp in 1994.
