James Javaras

James “Jim” Javaras, a business leader with four decades of experience in the insurance industry, established The BHR Life Companies, where he serves as President. The Leominster, Massachusetts-based firm provides trusted advice to clients regarding employee and executive benefits as well as business and estate planning issues. Since founding BHR, James Javaras has earned a high degree of industry recognition, including “Top of the Table” membership with the Million Dollar Round Table.
Beyond his commitment to BHR, James Javaras is involved with the Worcester Art Museum, a cultural institution founded over a century ago. He supports the museum privately as a trustee emeritus and through his company as a corporate sponsor.
In May 2019, Mr. Javaras worked on the museum’s behalf as co-chair of its fundraising gala, which was styled to celebrate the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany and John La Farge. The event also incorporated a live auction and a special cocktail hour inspired by the Kentucky Derby.
In addition to his partnership with the Worcester Art Museum, Jim Javaras helps lead the United Way Tocqueville Society as chair, a position he’s held for a decade. The society was established in the late-1980s, and since its founding, it has raised many millions of dollars to improve people’s lives.
