Jamie D Atkins is Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer of Issaquah Capital Partners. Mr. Atkins is also a Managing Partner of the firm's global macro long/short equity hedge funds: The Issaquah Funds. Mr. Atkins developed the equity investment process that is the basis for all of Issaquah's investment strategies. He is a member of the analyst team that covers multiple sectors for all growth investment portfolios.

Prior to launching Issaquah Capital, Mr. Atkins served as Managing Partner of Clearwater Capital Management & Clearwater Asset Management, LLC (prior firms). Mr. Atkins began his investment management career as a Senior Principal and Head of Risk Management for Great Companies, LLC, a Clearwater Florida based Institutional Investment Adviser affiliated with AEGON N.V. The firm, which managed over $1.5 billion in assets under management, advised public pension plans, the AEGON Transamerica Series Funds & Transamerica IDEX Mutual Funds.

A 20-year veteran of Wall Street, Mr. Atkins began his Wall Street career as an Analyst for AIG. Mr. Atkins then served on the Institutional Equity Sales & Trading Desk of Salomon Brothers in New York, where his responsibilities included servicing institutional clients for Equities, Derivatives, Program & Block Trading. Mr. Atkins later served as a Proprietary Bond Trader for Credit Suisse First Boston, New York, where he had P&L responsibility for over $300 million in proprietary firm capital for the primary issuance and secondary trading of Medium Term Notes, High Grade Corporates, and Agencies. Mr. Atkins' clients included GMAC, IBM, GE Capital, P&G, and Ford Motor Credit.

Mr. Atkins served as Vice President & Principal of Banc America Securities, Charlotte, NC, where he was primarily responsible for the supervision of the firm's Equity, Fixed Income, and Asset Management Divisions including off balance sheet investment vehicles. Mr. Atkins oversight included High Yield, Capital Markets, Corporate, Derivatives, Loan Syndication, Mortgage Securities, Agencies, and Money Markets. Mr. Atkins held the Series 7, Series 63, Series24, Series 67 registrations; he currently holds NASD Series 65 Investment Adviser Law Registration. Mr. Atkins was born in 1962 and received a B.B.A. in Finance from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York City.
