Janice Teetsell

Janice left behind a career in television and radio to devote herself to family and domestic relations law. A graduate of Smith College where she was taught she could do anything she put her mind to, and Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ, where she was part of the first night class and watched classmates who were pursuing a second or third career, Janice had climbed career and personal mountains. From hosting a television in the 70's when women were a rarity in prominent roles, to promoting legislation benefiting women's interests in New Jersey, to stepping into male-dominated courtrooms and achieving leadership positions in the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Women Lawyers, Janice has sought out opportunities for growth. In her personal life she has continued climbing mountains by serving as a District Governor in Rotary District 7470, the first person of color to do so in this District. Janice's law practice is now devoted to family and domestic relations, residential real estate transactions, family-based immigration cases, and adoptions.
