Jane is an alcoholic drinks educator, writer, broadcaster and communicator. She is the founder of the School of Booze - a corporate events business and consultancy. Jane was the UK's first accredited Pommelier (cider sommelier), was Britain's first Beer Sommelier of the Year, is a former Drinks Educator of the Year, and is an award winning drinks writer. She was given a Lifetime Achievement in Beer by the British Parliament All Party Parliamentary Beer Group . She is the instigator and driving force of Beer Day Britain (the UK's annual National Beer Day on June 15th) for which she won an award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Beer.

Jane is an engaging and entertaining speaker who talks on a number of subjects including her unique presentation called ‘The F Word – How Fermentation Changed the World’.

She is a tour guide and her tour of historic London pubs was voted Top Global Experience 2012, Top British Experience 2014 and 2015 by Viator international tour agency. Jane also offers 'off the beaten tracks' private tours of London.

Jane is the drinks ambassador to Love British Food and advocates for Britain's incredible drinks sector.
