I’m a big geek who has a love for ideas, transformation and the process of knowledge. Turning a concept into a clear-cut actionable practice is exhilarating, especially when there’s a need to come up with another way to proceed, win-back or overcome a sticking point.

I think beyond what’s commonplace, familiar or obvious. Faced with any given scenario I confirm relevant patterns, recognize sequences in events, data and other people’s comments. This presents insight to identify links between things that others can’t see and it’s often the root of how I bring the most imaginative game plans to light.

Spontaneously, I start conversations with complete strangers and make a routine game out of getting outsiders to talk about themselves, their interests, ideas and beliefs. This fuels my ambition to energize people around various projects, events or activities.

Others often turn to me as someone who gives a legitimate point of view about a project, person, event or idea. My suggestions often resonate with their unique needs, strengths, limitations & goals.

The most indispensable obsession is giving my full attention, energy and gratification to the most important parts of life such as my marriage, personal growth, family obligations and professional responsibility. To get optimal results out of each present moment, I employ a passion for reading and reflection by collecting all kinds of books, articles and programs for solving issues, fixing mistakes and overcoming barriers to deal with all sorts of predicaments… this is often for perplexing and trying situations.

What distinguishes me from most people is the willingness to emotionally put myself out there for others. I harbor very few illusions about who I really am and will openly acknowledge mistakes and shortcomings. This strength makes me quite comfortable with being honest about myself with others.

Like other geeks, I’m fascinated with the process of learning, the thrill of engaging participation and the barrage of data from various sources that factor into my quality of life. I gain lots of energy from the deliberate journey from ignorance to competence and enjoy using it to help friends reach their maximum potential.
