Janis Doucette

Janis has been involved with some form of art or craft for most of her life. She employs numerous forms of printmaking, a medium which has held her interest now for about 15 years. Currently, Janis prints primarily on textiles and often combines it with one of her old loves – photography – to create fabric collages.

Her work has been exhibited in New England and internationally.Recent exhibitions include the National Quilt Museum, Paducah, Kentucky;London, Harrogate and Birmingham, United Kingdom; Dublin, Ireland; and the AustralasianQuilt Convention, Melbourne, Australia. Manyof her prints on paper are in private collections throughout the world.
