Jason Dubois

Jason Dubois is an arts manager with more than 15 years experience working in dance creation, dissemination and presentation. Originally from Saskatchewan, he holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina where he first became involved with the Canadian dance scene at New Dance Horizons in 1996. Some dance career highlights include working as Executive Director for Dance Victoria, working with Eponymous as Production and Tour Manager for Kidd Pivot, Wen Wei Dance, Lola Dance and The Holy Body Tattoo (among others); as well as, working with The Dance Centre as Production Manager / Technical Director. Jason’s lighting design credits included works for The 605 Collective, The Response (Amber Funk Barton), Martha Carter, and Aeriosa (Julia Taffe); and he has worked as Technical Director for Judith Marcuse Projects & DanceHouse. Jason has served as a director on the boards of Out Innerspace Dance Society, The Greater Vancouver Alliance for Arts and Culture, The Professional Arts Alliance of Greater Victoria and the Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists BC Chapter (CADA/West).
