Jeep Wrangler Hq
The current version of the Jeep Wrangler is the third generation (this post was created in 2015). The legendary Jeep Wrangler is manufactured by American automotive maker Chrysler, since 1986. It should be noted that Chrysler is now known as FCA US LLC, the FCA means Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The vehicle is best described as a nicely compact and midsize four wheel drive, off road and sport utility vehicle (SUV).
It should be noted that contrary to popular belief, the Wrangler is actually not a direct descendant of the iconic Willys MB, which was used in World War II as a military vehicle. Neither is it a direct descendant of the Willys civilian Jeeps popularly known as the Jeep CJ, which was produced from 1944 through to 1986.
The following companies produced the Willys: (a) Willys-Overland (1944 to1953), (b) Kaiser-Jeep (1953 to 1970), and (c) the American Motors Corporation (1970 to 1986).
The famed Jeep Wrangler has several names and they are as follow: (1) The Jeep YJ, (2) Jeep TJ, (3) Jeep JK, (4) Jeep J8 (Military version), (5) Jeep Sahara and (6) the Jeep Willys (Iceland).
